A month-long celebration of the most wonderful time of the year!

Witness the winter beauty of the Kawarthas as Viamede transforms into a wonderland of holiday adventures and memories for all as we cherish traditions and embrace the Yule season for the entire month of December. Every weekend, the Viamede Elves stock the cookies and fill the hot chocolate mugs throughout the weekend to ring in the holidays. The only thing not included is an awkward family Christmas card.

Due to Covid 19, most of the Holiday activities we like to do won’t be able to be run this year. However, below is a list of ongoing fun that you can do throughout your stay to keep you in the Holiday spirit!

  • Brave the elements to track the Viamede Yetis. Find 3 of the 7 yetis and bring back photographic proof of your sightings for a prize. Legend has it, this is what he looks like.

  • Stop by the dining room to take a quick trip back to grandma’s kitchen to pick up your individual cookie decorating kits! These will be for preorder.

  • Swing by the lobby to decorate a stocking for each member of the family. Add your name and carefully hang it over the fireplace in the dining room. Check back Sunday morning to see if you made the nice list.

  • It’s never too late to tell Santa (or Toby) what you want for Christmas.  Write a letter and we promise we’ll hand-deliver it.

  • Grab a Hot chocolate from our served Hot chocolate bar served daily at 3 pm.

  • Skating on the ice rink on the lake
  • Snowshoeing or cross country skiing on the trials

Our amenities and recreation activities are complimentary with your stay.

Information we automatically collect.
Like most websites, our services may incorporate fancy things like “pixel tags” and “cookies” which allow us to track actions and serve you information about our products and services. All of these collect Non-Personal Information.

4) What about Non-Personal Information?
