BBQ Menu

Let us do the planning, shopping and prepping, while you watch the waves.

While you can’t order a ham and cheese sandwich on rye at 3:00 a.m., you can request your favourites from our BBQ Menu, and grill your own dinner whenever it suits you! Quintessentially Canadian, there’s something about gazing out over sunny Stoney Lake, cold beer in hand, and grilling a few burgers. But there’s no reason you should have to fight cottage country traffic to shop for groceries.

Our BBQ menu has everything you’ll need: marinated steaks, burgers with all the trimmings, salads, and even s’more kits. We’ll let you decide if you want to invite the neighbours over for dinner.

See the menu here!

The BBQ menu and BBQ Patio is available from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving.

The BBQ Patio

That cottage life ain’t just for cottagers anymore!

One of our goals is to make sure that every guest has a classic Viamede cottage-y experience, whether they are in a guest room, suite or cottage. Our guestrooms all have balconies or patios with fabulous views, they have access to the same great activities, and the only difference from the cottage experience was the lack of a kitchen. Well, problem solved. The BBQ Patio, a lakeside outdoor BBQ kitchen, is available for all guests.

You can bring your own food (there’s a fridge in every guestroom), or order from our ever-popular BBQ Menu. Then head down to The BBQ Patio, and relax with a lakeside brew while Dad (or Mom, or the dog, we don’t judge) cooks your dinner. You might even make friends with your neighbour!

The BBQ Patio includes BBQs, tables for food prep, picnic tables for eating, basic implements, cutlery and plates, and even fridges to store your desserts. You’re welcome!

We at Viamede Resort value the privacy of all our guests and friends. That’s why in addition to a lock on the door of each guestroom, we have detailed how we use any information we receive.

Oh—and before we go any further—we’ll just let everyone know right off the bat that we comply with current Canadian privacy legislation.

There are two different types of information that we collect: personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) and non-personally identifiable information (“Non-Personal Information”).

This might sounds complicated but it’s fairly straightforward.

When you reach out by e-mail, social media or by hand delivered letter, we may keep those for our records.

Information we automatically collect.
Like most websites, our services may incorporate fancy things like “pixel tags” and “cookies” which allow us to track actions and serve you information about our products and services. All of these collect Non-Personal Information.

3) How is the information used?

4) What about Non-Personal Information?

From time to time, we use third-party advertising companies to serve you ads when you visit our website. We want to make sure you enjoy your time with us and that your information is protected. Personal Information will only be used or shared when necessary and we would never sell you out by giving your information to third parties without good reason.
